Changwon Campus of Korea Polytechnics was established in 1977 by President Park Chung-hee under the name of Changwon Industrial Masters College and is the first Industrial Masters College in Korea. It was established for the purpose of training top engineers like Meister in Germany and has produced more than 30,000 graduates so far.
