Gyeongnam Innovation Academy is an innovative AI and software education institution jointly established by the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT), the Institute of Information & Communications Technology Planning & Evaluation (IITP), and Gyeongsangnam-do, and operated by Gyeongnam Technopark. Based on the Codyssey platform connecting Seoul, Daejeon, and Gyeongnam, the Academy develops Agentic AI Engineers capable of driving digital transformation across Gyeongnam and a wide range of industries. Instead of conventional lecture-based instruction, the Academy provides a project-based learning environment in which participants solve AI missions independently (Self), review and collaborate with peers (Peer), and receive guidance from professional facilitators (Guide). The AI All-in-One program consists of four progressive stages: Boot Camp, AI Tools, Advanced AI, and Applied AI. Participants progress from building foundational services using data, web technologies, and APIs to developing real-world AI services, solving industry-specific challenges, and completing an end-to-end AI solution. A dedicated learning facility for Gyeongnam Innovation Academy is currently being established in the Fifth Engineering Building of Gyeongnam University. Equipped with approximately 300 training computers, specialized AI resources, individual study areas, lounges, meeting rooms, and collaborative project spaces, the facility will provide an immersive learning environment accessible 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Scholarships, access to leading AI tools, career and startup programs, overseas training, certification support, and networking opportunities will further help participants become highly capable, industry-ready AI professionals.
