Gyeongnam Science Culture Hub Center at Gyeongnam Technopark promotes a variety of initiatives aimed at expanding locally driven science and technology culture and fostering AI·SW-based science culture. Yangsan Artificial Intelligence High School is Gyeongnam’s first AI-specialized high school, dedicated to cultivating practice-oriented AI talent aligned with industry needs through programs in AI Convergence Factory, AI Automatic Control Systems, AI Content, and Bio-Food. In August 2026, the two organizations signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote science and technology culture and AI·SW education in Gyeongnam. Through their joint booth at THE NEXT AI, students will take an active role in providing hands-on programs in AI, robotics, biotechnology, and digital content, contributing to greater youth interest in AI·SW and the wider promotion of science and technology culture in the region.
